TODA is a very proud Portfolio Manager for Microsoft SA’s BizSpark programme. BizSpark is a nationwide virtual incubator programme through which Microsoft supports thousands of startup companies through access to free software and cloud services. BizSpark provides over two hundred of these companies with further business process support services to help these companies structure, price right, test and go to market.

TODA works independently with a number of entrepreneurs to support their businesses and assist them in executing on the potential of their business ideas.

Funding for Growth

Venture Capital Funds in South Africa that have been prepared to invest in early stage companies have been few and far between; leaving a significant gap in this important area for any startup ecosystem.

TODA has entered into a joint venture with African Business Connectors (ABC {link}) to establish iPartners Africa {link}, a company that will focus on bringing capital to this market.

iPartners Africa is establishing the Emerging Technology Fund 1 (ETF-1) in partnership with Microsoft BizSpark {link}. Companies associated with Microsoft and the BizSpark programme will have access to the ETF-1 first. The goal is to identify potential investment opportunities within this incubation programme.
